Are you a caring and broadminded woman, with a keen interest in the environment and society? Would you be happy to share the home of an active, nature‑loving woman in her eighties with a background in science, media and education? She enjoys a busy social life with book club, coffees, cinema and church. At home she likes reading, listening to classical music, watching nature programmes and keeping a peaceful routine. She cares deeply about wildlife, the environment, community and animal welfare (especially cats) and in warmer weather enjoys tending to plants and encouraging wildlife in the garden.
The Householder is looking for some company at home e.g. sharing a meal, watching TV, low key chatting about each other’s day and subjects of interest. A like-minded independent, younger person, keen to live in an eco-conscious way, a driver with their own car, able to help with the odd lift, would be ideal. A house-trained cat would also be welcome!
The shared areas – bathroom, downstairs toilet, kitchen and garden would also be shared with a quiet, male lodger.
Costs:
- £ 200 monthly fee payable to Homeshare West
- £100 contribution to bills payable monthly to Householder
