Are you a creative person, a good conversationalist and looking for affordable accommodation? We have a rare opportunity to share the home of a woman in her mid‑eighties who loves art, good conversation and books. She studied Fine Arts, taught art courses and even lived on and ran an island while raising her children. She is creative, warm, thoughtful and sociable, although she sometimes feels lonely. She goes to a weekly life‑drawing class and enjoys talking about ideas, people and the world around her.
She loves spending time with others but also appreciates quiet moments. Her artwork has been exhibited. She enjoys trips to the seaside, walks in the countryside and time spent with people she trusts. Politics can frustrate her, especially when the world feels unfair.
Support would include some cooking and shared meals, occasional food shopping, light housework, companionship and outings to art galleries or the theatre. She would like to share with someone who is helpful, easy to talk to and comfortable with their own company. A car owner is essential.
