Rosemary, aged 90, welcomed three sharers

Rosemary was 86 when she had her first Sharer. She has a loving family who became concerned as her memory loss progressed. They felt she needed someone who would be around some evenings to cook with her and be there overnight. Rosemary was delighted with the prospect – throughout her life she had helped others and looked forward to welcoming someone into her home again.

Mel was in her mid-forties, worked part-time and got on so well with Rosemary she stayed for two years before going to live abroad. Karen was a mature student who stayed for over a year. She was a gentle soul, kind and considerate, much appreciated by the family. Caroline, a well-educated learning support worker also stayed for just over a year. She moved on when her circumstances changed and she was able to buy her own property.
