She was a university professor, and speaks French, Italian and Spanish. Although she has some memory loss and is a little hard of hearing, she remains a sharp, witty conversationalist who loves Scrabble, puzzles and a good chat.
She’s feisty, eccentric in the best way, open‑minded and old‑school without being prim. She thrives with people who are interesting, thoughtful and have a bit of life experience, therefore she is hoping for a Sharer who enjoys reading, good conversation, and appreciates the peace of rural living. A sense of humour and a slightly bohemian streak would fit beautifully.
She would particularly enjoy living with someone who works from home at least part of the time. Support would include occasional cooking and shared meals, light housework such as vacuuming and dusting, keeping basic groceries topped up, and offering companionship, especially around teatime. Short local outings or drives would be appreciated, with the possibility of longer trips by arrangement. A car owner is a must due to the rural location.
